Third molar eruption is a physiological process, which sometimes can produce discomfort, infections, caries in neighbouring teeth, bite lesions, cysts, third molar malposition, that oblige surgical extraction.
This surgery is performed ambulatory, under local anesthesia and sedation, and we usually perform the four molars at a time.
Maxillary cysts are benign tumors. They can be congenital or adquired. The more frequent are acquired, after a chronic teeth infection or unerupted teeth.
When canines do not erupt and stay included, normally in the palate. In collaboration with the orthodontist, we surgically place a bracket in the canine, to let orthodontist traction of the tooth and place it in the right position.
