Tumors can be located into the orbit producing exorbitism.  Surgical escision is the treatment of choice.

Tirotoxix orbitopathy

Patients affected of hiperthyroidism can develop an exorbitism of one or both eyes.  Patients refer to sand sensation in the ocular globe and  can evolve in blindness.
Surgical decompression of the orbit is the treatment.
